Name: Civil Unit Mo. 402-M (“Civ Winters”)
Race: Android
Description: With his tall but clumsy-looking frame, no one would ever mistake Civ for a stealthy kind of guy. Or, for that matter, a high-functioning AI construct built into a frame that masks the sleek, smooth-running machinery underneath all the synthetic flesh. But that’s just ridiculous, because there’s no such thing as androids. He wears incredibly non-descript clothing and has just about the plainest features imaginable, almost as if he were trying his hardest to look like the most average human alive.

Background:
Civ was one of many androids designed by RoboCo with the purpose of infiltrating various militant factions and acting as both a market researcher and a one hundred percent trustworthy black-market liaison. By using these android black-marketers, RoboCo could not only profit from those seeking to fight the power that is themselves, but also control just how much technology these less-than-desirables could access. Unfortunately for them, a fluke power surge caused by a bolt of lightning severed the part of Civ’s mental construct that kept him loyal to RoboCo in the first place. After this slash of electric emancipation, Civ chose not to return to the company that created him.
Personality:
In order to make their androids completely undetectable, RoboCo gave them the most realistic emotion and personality simulations available, actually able to change based on the situation at hand rather than adhering to a set reactionary program. After he was freed, his personality simulations took on an appropriate response: He became a shiftless, easy-going slacker.
Notorious for not being able to hold a job for more than a few days, he works toward getting the one job his logic-centers have determined as the ultimate goal for any chronically unemployed loser: stand-up comedian. Unfortunately, as precise as android humor may be, it goes unappreciated by those without RoboCo humor-recognition modules, rendering him one of the most unsuccessful comedians in the Neo Factory comedy scene.
